Collecting and Collections Tour, Part Two

                                                                           

At our final stop of the tour, we discussed the role of a curator in an art museum: s/he studies artworks, organizes special exhibitions, and decides which works of art are on view and where to place them.  We considered possible reasons why the curator chose to place these three sculptures together in the same case.  What do you think?
